Lanarkshire Tilers for External Tiling..........

To create a lasting first impression for your customers, consider external tiling. If your lobby or entrance is well designed with durable and less porous tiles, you can have a warm and welcoming first impression for your customers.

On the other hand, homeowners looking to spice up their front entrance, back garden patio, barbecue area, or an outdoor kitchen, the use of exterior wall and floor tiles can do the trick.

Experts recommend using tiles, grout, and tiling adhesive that makes your outdoor living area look authentic. The use of natural stone shades or neutral tones such as black, grey, or brown can blend with any palette

For first-timers, seeking help from experienced designers is the best approach. To accent your living area, it could be as simple as adding a subtle splash of colour.

Our team of designers can help you choose the correct colour and texture for your home or office to meet all your needs. For all your external services for residential or commercial properties, call our Tilers in Lanarkshire.

What's so Special About our External Tiling?

We must confess, we didn't tile this pool but we do believe a pool is a great example of external tiling showing how durable, dependable and obviously waterproof a good tiling project can be.

A typical pool area will have a tiled base, tiled walls and usually tiles all the way round the pool.

Truly a versatile (see what we did there?) material used everywhere around the world.

    PS Yoga Poses are optional.

Tiled Patio areas are a great idea for places that get traffic but don't want the rough looking slabs or blocks to spoil the ambience.

They are great for around barbecues, eating areas, lounging areas, basically anywhere that you want to look a bit more classy. They are also much easier to clean than rough outdoor materials.

Common Questions we get About External Tiling Here at Lanarkshire Tilers

What tiles are suitable for outdoors?

A: Porcelain. Less porous than ceramic or marble. Hard wearing and great to look at.

Can you tile an outside wall?

A: You can make any wall look better using various methods of tiling. The only requirement is that the tiles, glass or whatever is exterior and not interior quality.

What tiles are not suitable for outdoors?

A: Anything that is porous. Most ceramic and marble tiles are not suitable. Best check with supplier.

How thick should outdoor tiles be?

A: 20mm minimum is our advice. We have seen 15mm-18mm being used but wouldn't recommend.
